How to be The Perfect Grandma Blog Tour and Giveaway

Welcome to the

How to be The Perfect Grandma

Blog Tour and Giveaway!

About How to be The Perfect Grandma:

How to be The Perfect Grandma is a humorous gift book for grandmothers, grandmothers-to-be, grandmother wannabes, anyone who has a grandmother—and, of course, grandfathers, Bryna Patson Nelson, a grandmother of 6, will have you laughing and nodding your head with each page.

Becoming a grandmother is not one of life’s free choices. You can pick your pet, your alma mater, and your spouse, but when and where you become a grandma is entirely up to your kids. You don’t expect it, and you don’t quite know how to respond.

Being a grandma, though, is as close as you may ever get to perfection. So learn the rules and secure your spot as one of the most important parts of your grandchildren’s lives.

Childhood Memories

reason, conclusion - emotion, actionThanks for joining me for Saturday Six hosted by Patrick from http://www.patrickkphillips.com/. Each week six different questions are asked and we blog our answers. Join me in the fun!

This week’s questions are:

  1. Considering your childhood, do you feel you had it easier or tougher than your parents did when they were children?
  2. Considering your life now, at your current age, how does yours compare to what you know about your parents when they were your age?
  3. What do you miss today most about your childhood?
  4. What percentage of the time during your childhood did you get what you asked for (within reason)?
  5. What percentage of the time do you end up getting what you want today (within reason)?
  6. Take the quiz: Are You Spoiled?

My answers:

  1. I feel that I had it easier. I had more advanced technology, fewer restrictions, less responsibilities, etc.
  2. They are different. My mom went straight to work, I went to school.
  3. My carefree spirit and no responsibilities.
  4. Most of the time if it was within reason.
  5. Most of the time if it is within reason.
  6. You are definitely not spoiled. You’ve worked hard for what you have.
Down to earth and grounded, you don’t need a lot to make you happy.
