 The best new person I’ve met this year is my Avon Team Leader Kathy. She has taken time out to help me even though I was a “stray”.  She is such a great inspiration and a true friend. She has given me the motivation to get out there and go get ‘em.

Where Did My Money Go?

This year, most of my money has went towards paying off debt. I know that doesn’t sound fun but it’s better than adding more debt. By this time next year, I hope to have my debt cut in half. It might mean that I have to pinch pennies and do without sometimes but it will be worth it in the end.

Something Old

 

Thanks for joining me for Girl Talk Thursday. Girl Talk Thursday is hosted by Kaye from www.beautyqueengene.com. Every week we gather to talk about, well…girl talk. This week’s topic is old friends you’ve reconnected with over the past year.

This past year I’ve reconnected with a few of my best friends that I haven’t seen in forever. First there was Brittany. I hadn’ t seen her since we graduated. We had some time of argument and then she moved away to live with her mom. We finally reconnected on Facebook and she had moved back to town. Unfortunately, when she became pregnant, she moved back to live close to her mom. We try to keep in touch but you know how that goes.

Then there was Melanie. She was a year ahead of me and we hadn’t really talked much since she left school. We also reconnected on Facebook. We try to get together from time to time but we live on separate ends of the county so it’s hard sometimes.

And last but surely not least was Krista. She moved away four or five years ago and I hadn’t seen her in three years. I went to visit for a couple of weeks three years ago but we’re 500 miles apart so it’s very hard to get together. She came in to visit family at the beginning of November so we got to hang out for the weekend. I hope to get down to visit her next summer.
